Job Description

Electronic Arts is seeking a Junior Quality Analyst to join our Apex Legends Performance Team in Wesley Chapel, Florida. This is an exciting entry-level opportunity for individuals eager to kickstart their career in the video game industry. You will play a crucial role in identifying, documenting, and testing defects, ensuring that Apex Legends continues to deliver a high-quality, smooth, and engaging experience for millions of players worldwide. Key Responsibilities
- Execute detailed test plans and test cases to identify defects, glitches, and performance issues within the Apex Legends game.
- Accurately document, track, and report bugs using internal bug tracking systems, including steps to reproduce, expected results, and actual results.
- Perform regression testing to verify bug fixes and ensure no new issues are introduced.
- Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and other QA team members to understand game features and testing requirements.
- Provide clear and concise feedback on game quality, usability, and overall player experience.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and team meetings to discuss progress and prioritize tasks.
- Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Required Skills
- Strong passion for video games, especially competitive online multiplayer titles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency with PC and console gaming platforms.

- Experience with other battle royale games.
- Basic knowledge of game development pipelines or engines (e.g., Frostbite, Unreal, Unity).
- Familiarity with performance testing concepts or tools.
- Relevant coursework or certifications in QA, game design, or computer science.
