  • Develop and implement automation scripts (e.g., Python, Bash, AppleScript) for routine tasks, system provisioning, and configuration management.
  • Monitor system health, performance, and security, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Provide advanced-level support and troubleshooting for complex Apple hardware and software problems, escalating to vendors as necessary.
  • Manage software deployment, patching, and updates for macOS and iOS devices, ensuring compliance and minimizing user impact.
  • Collaborate with network, security, and cloud engineering teams to integrate Apple systems seamlessly into the existing IT landscape.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Stay current with emerging Apple technologies, industry trends, and security vulnerabilities, recommending strategic improvements.
  • Participate in on-call rotation as required for critical system support.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience as an Apple Systems Administrator or Analyst in an enterprise environment.
  • Expertise in macOS and iOS operating systems, including advanced troubleshooting and command-line proficiency.
  • Strong experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions, particularly Jamf Pro or Microsoft Intune.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, AppleScript) for automation.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) and security protocols.
  • Experience with identity management systems (e.g., Active Directory, Azure AD) and SSO solutions.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration with Apple ecosystems.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) or Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT) certification.
