Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Online Inventory Analyst to join our remote e-commerce support team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and reporting on inventory levels across our various online platforms. You will work closely with supply chain, sales, and merchandising teams to ensure product availability, minimize stockouts, and reduce excess inventory, ultimately contributing to a seamless customer experience and robust business growth. This is a 100% remote position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze inventory performance, identifying trends and potential issues.
  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and turnover.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to forecast demand and plan purchasing.
  • Conduct regular inventory reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
  • Generate comprehensive reports on inventory health, stock movements, and performance metrics.
  • Identify and resolve inventory-related operational challenges in a timely manner.
  • Utilize data to make informed decisions regarding product allocation and replenishment.
  • Support e-commerce promotions and seasonal sales with accurate inventory planning.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, advanced formulas).
  • Experience with inventory management software or ERP systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience with SQL or other data query languages.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and online retail operations.
  • Certification in inventory management (e.g., CPIM, CSCP).
  • Experience with forecasting and demand planning tools.
