Job Description
Are you passionate about video games and have a keen eye for detail? Electronic Arts is looking for enthusiastic Game Testers to join our remote team. Key Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to identify software defects across multiple gaming platforms.
- Accurately document, track, and retest bugs using internal bug tracking systems, ensuring clear communication of issues.
- Provide clear, concise, and objective feedback on gameplay, mechanics, user interface, and overall user experience.
- Collaborate effectively with development and QA teams to ensure issues are thoroughly understood and resolved.
- Perform regression testing to verify fixes and ensure they do not introduce new problems.
- Adhere strictly to project schedules and deliver high-quality work within specified deadlines.
- Continuously learn and stay updated with industry trends, new gaming technologies, and testing methodologies.
Required Skills
- Profound passion for video games and a strong understanding of various gaming genres and mechanics.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong observational skills.
- Ability to articulate complex issues clearly and concisely, both verbally and in written reports.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and a quick aptitude for learning new software and tools.
- Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
- Possession of a reliable high-speed internet connection and a suitable home office setup for remote work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a QA or game testing role, whether professional, freelance, or through personal projects.
- Familiarity with a variety of gaming platforms, including PC, console (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo), and mobile devices.
- A foundational understanding of the software development lifecycle and QA processes.
- Experience with common bug tracking software such as Jira, Bugzilla, or similar systems.
