Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically-minded Google Knowledge Graph Associate with a strong data focus to join our remote team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in enhancing the accuracy, relevance, and coverage of information within the Google Knowledge Graph. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the UK. You will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and structuring data from various sources to enrich the Knowledge Graph, ensuring high-quality data contributes to Google’s semantic search capabilities. A keen eye for detail, a methodical approach to data analysis, and a passion for information organization are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, collect, and analyze data from diverse sources to improve the Google Knowledge Graph.
- Perform data cleaning, standardization, and validation to ensure data integrity and consistency.
- Structure complex information into structured data formats suitable for Knowledge Graph ingestion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
- Monitor data quality and identify areas for improvement, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of data guidelines and best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in knowledge representation and semantic web technologies.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-centric approach.
- Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using tools like SQL, Excel, or similar.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets accurately.
- Solid understanding of data quality principles and data governance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Library Science, or a related field.
- Familiarity with knowledge graphs, semantic web technologies (RDF, OWL), or linked data principles.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for data processing.
- Previous experience in data entry, data curation, or content management roles.
- Understanding of Google search technologies and information retrieval.
