Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists with the preparation and dispensing of prescription medications, under direct supervision.
- Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately at the register.
- Maintain proper inventory levels, including stocking shelves, monitoring expiration dates, and assisting with ordering.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries, and directing patients to appropriate resources.
- Ensure the pharmacy work area is clean, organized, and compliant with all safety and sanitation standards.
- Learn and adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations regarding pharmacy practice and patient privacy (HIPAA).
- Complete required training modules and certifications in a timely manner.
