Job Description
Join The Parking Spot team as a Part-time Shuttle Driver with a focus on weekend airport parking. We’re looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to provide safe and efficient transportation for our customers between our parking facility and the Ontario International Airport (ONT). This role is crucial for ensuring our guests start and end their travels smoothly. You will be the face of our service, offering a friendly welcome and ensuring a comfortable ride. This position is ideal for someone seeking consistent weekend hours and enjoying a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company shuttle buses on designated routes between the parking facility and Ontario International Airport (ONT).
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Provide friendly, professional, and courteous service to all customers.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of the shuttle bus interior and exterior.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members.
- Be available to work primarily on weekends and holidays as required.
Required Skills
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger (P) endorsement.
- Clean driving record for at least the past three years.
- Ability to lift and carry luggage weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Punctual and reliable.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in shuttle driving or passenger transport.
- Knowledge of the Ontario International Airport (ONT) area and surrounding routes.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
