Job Description
Are you a highly organized individual with a keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to tasks? Public Storage is seeking a dedicated Storage Storage Organizer to join our team in German Village, Columbus, Ohio. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on creating order from chaos and ensuring that every item has its proper place. You will be instrumental in maintaining the optimal layout and efficiency of our storage units and common areas, ensuring proper inventory management, unit allocation, and contributing to a streamlined, accessible, and safe environment for our customers and team. Your methodical approach will directly impact operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Systematically organize and categorize storage units and common areas for maximum efficiency.
- Implement and maintain efficient storage and retrieval systems to ensure ease of access.
- Conduct regular audits of unit availability and contents (where permissible and necessary) to maintain accurate records.
- Assist customers with unit selection and provide basic inquiries regarding optimal organization practices.
- Ensure strict compliance with all safety protocols and company organizational standards.
- Process incoming and outgoing items, maintaining accurate and up-to-date record-keeping.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of all storage facilities and common spaces.
- Collaborate effectively with the facility management team to continually optimize space utilization and flow.

- Proven ability to organize and categorize items efficiently and logically.
