Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic Mindfulness App Validator to join our remote team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and user experience of our mindfulness and meditation application. You will be responsible for rigorously testing new features, content, and updates, providing constructive feedback, and advocating for the user’s perspective to ensure our product remains intuitive, effective, and deeply aligned with the principles of mindfulness. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in the US, with a focus on delivering excellence in digital wellness.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive testing of new features, content, and updates within the Headspace application across various platforms (iOS, Android, Web).
- Validate the accuracy and consistency of meditation scripts, sleep content, and other wellness exercises.
- Identify, document, and track bugs, glitches, and user experience issues using our internal tools.
- Provide detailed, constructive feedback on content clarity, audio quality, user interface, and overall user flow.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and content creators to resolve issues and improve product quality.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute insights on user feedback and best practices in app validation.
- Stay informed on best practices in mindfulness, meditation, and digital wellness applications.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure new releases meet user expectations and business requirements.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in quality assurance, user testing, or content validation, preferably within a digital product environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to identifying and documenting issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- A deep personal interest in mindfulness, meditation, or mental wellness practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work setting.
- Proficiency with bug tracking software and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana).
- Familiarity with mobile and web application environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Psychology, Computer Science, Communications, Health Sciences).
- Experience with usability testing principles and methodologies.
- Previous experience validating content for wellness or educational applications.
- Understanding of basic UI/UX principles.
