Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented WFH Content Moderator to join our global team, specifically focusing on maintaining a secure and positive online community experience for Netflix members. This is a 100% remote position where you will be responsible for reviewing user-generated content, identifying violations of our community guidelines, and taking appropriate action to ensure a safe and enjoyable platform. You will be at the forefront of protecting our members and upholding the integrity of the Netflix brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze user-generated content, including comments, posts, and other interactions, against established community guidelines and terms of service.
- Accurately identify and categorize content violations such as hate speech, harassment, misinformation, and other inappropriate material.
- Take appropriate action on identified content, which may include removal, warning, or escalation to higher-level teams.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy and efficiency in content review while adhering to strict service level agreements (SLAs).
- Provide clear, concise, and professional feedback or justifications for moderation decisions when required.
- Stay up-to-date with evolving content policies, guidelines, and cultural nuances relevant to a global audience.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and cross-functional departments to ensure consistency and improve moderation processes.
Required Skills
- Excellent judgment and decision-making skills with the ability to interpret and apply complex guidelines consistently.
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
- Comfortable reviewing sensitive, graphic, or potentially disturbing content on a regular basis.
- Proficiency with various online tools and platforms.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in content moderation, online community management, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Netflix content and community guidelines.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Fluency in a second language (e.g., Spanish) is a plus.
