Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our dynamic private practice. This is an exceptional opportunity for an FNP looking to leverage their expertise in a setting that values autonomy, clinical excellence, and patient-provider relationships. The successful candidate will manage a diverse patient panel, providing primary care services across the lifespan, from pediatrics to geriatrics. Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients of all ages, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, including prescribing medications, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and performing minor procedures.
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments, maintaining accurate and detailed patient records.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health promotion, and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and practice policies.
- Provide patient education and counseling, promoting healthy lifestyles and disease prevention.
- Perform annual physicals, well-child visits, and women's health examinations.
Required Skills
- Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure in Indiana.
- Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as an FNP in a primary care or family medicine setting.
- Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient education abilities.
- Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with a diverse patient population.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Bilingual proficiency (Spanish preferred).
- Experience in a private practice setting.
