Job Description
Join the Amazon team as a Small Parcel Warehouse Hand in Scottsdale, AZ! This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a clean, organized, and climate-controlled indoor environment, handling small parcels and contributing to our world-class logistics operation. This role is crucial for ensuring products are accurately processed and prepared for delivery to our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, sort, and place small parcels onto shelves or in designated areas.
- Scan products using handheld devices to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Pick customer orders from various locations within the warehouse.
- Pack and label outgoing shipments carefully and efficiently.
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily productivity goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to understand and follow safety procedures and instructions.
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with handheld devices (training provided).
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling parcels.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or similar logistics environment.
- Experience using RF scanners or other inventory management tools.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends or holidays if required.
