Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform various errands such as grocery shopping, prescription pick-up, and postal services.
  • Provide engaging companionship through conversations, reading, games, and other social activities.
  • Assist with light household tasks to maintain a comfortable living environment.
  • Safely transport clients to appointments, social outings, or community events using your own reliable vehicle.
  • Accurately document services provided and report any significant changes in client condition or needs.
  • Foster a positive and supportive relationship with clients, promoting their well-being and independence.

Required Skills

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with up-to-date insurance.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow instructions and adapt to individual client needs.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a caregiving, customer service, or volunteer role working with seniors.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
