Job Description

Home Instead in Rialto, CA, is seeking enthusiastic Caregivers for rewarding 12-hour shifts. Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalized companionship and engagement activities.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Administer medication reminders and assist with mobility.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, laundry, and run errands.
- Monitor and report any changes in client's health or behavior.
- Ensure a safe and clean living environment for clients.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and client observations.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated patience, empathy, and reliability
- Basic understanding of health and safety protocols
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving, CNA certification, or a related field
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Experience with dementia care or specialized senior care
