Job Description
Are you ready for a dynamic, hands-on role that gets you out of the office and into the thick of action? EventPro Solutions is seeking a motivated and energetic Marquee Rigger Assistant to join our growing team in Arvada, CO. This physically demanding role is perfect for individuals who thrive in outdoor environments, enjoy working as part of a close-knit team, and have a passion for bringing large-scale events to life. You’ll play a crucial part in the safe and efficient setup and teardown of marquees, tents, and various event structures, often involving heavy lifting and working at heights. This is a high-energy position that offers excellent opportunities for learning and career growth within the event industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the safe and efficient erection and dismantling of marquees, tents, and other event structures.
- Load and unload equipment, ensuring proper handling and organization.
- Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures meticulously.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work sites and equipment.
- Adapt to varying weather conditions and outdoor work environments.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physical labor, including heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs), bending, standing for long periods, and working at heights.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Basic understanding of safety practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, rigging, or event setup.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
