Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and physically capable Brick Stacker / Mover to join our Glendale team. This role is crucial to our operations, ensuring that building materials, particularly bricks and other masonry supplies, are efficiently and safely moved, stacked, and prepared for delivery or customer pickup. This position requires significant physical exertion, including heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods in various weather conditions. Key Responsibilities

  • Manually load and unload bricks, blocks, and other masonry materials from delivery trucks and into storage areas.
  • Stack and organize materials neatly and safely in designated warehouse or yard locations.
  • Operate manual pallet jacks and other non-motorized equipment to move materials as needed.
  • Assist in preparing orders for shipment, ensuring correct quantities and types of materials are loaded.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sweeping and clearing debris.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including proper lifting techniques and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Perform other physically demanding tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Required Skills

  • Ability to consistently lift and move heavy objects (up to 75 lbs) repeatedly throughout an entire shift.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, construction, or material handling role.
  • Experience operating a forklift or other heavy equipment (certification a plus).
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to read and understand basic work orders and safety instructions.
