Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide for a static post position in Huntington Beach, CA. This unique role requires no driving, as you will provide consistent, one-on-one care to a single client within their home or a designated facility. Your primary focus will be on assisting with daily living activities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment, and offering companionship. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about direct patient care, seeking a stable work environment without the need for travel between multiple clients. You will play a vital role in maintaining the client’s well-being and enhancing their quality of life, working closely with the care team to implement personalized care plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene assistance.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers, including ambulation and positioning.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks essential to the client’s health and comfort.
- Monitor and report changes in client’s health, behavior, or living conditions to the care team.
- Engage clients in stimulating activities and provide companionship.
- Assist with medication reminders as per care plan instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for the client.
- Document services provided accurately and timely according to company policy.
