Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman for immediate hire to perform a variety of small home repairs and maintenance tasks across our portfolio of properties in Winston-Salem, NC. This is a full-time position for an individual who is eager to start working today and possesses a broad range of practical skills. You will be responsible for ensuring our properties are well-maintained, safe, and comfortable for our residents. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general home maintenance and repair tasks including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and painting.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues with appliances, fixtures, and structural elements.
- Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify and address potential maintenance needs.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and property management.
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to high-quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and properly dispose of debris.
- Communicate effectively with residents and the property management team regarding repair status and any issues.
- Manage and organize tools and materials effectively.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with a variety of home repair and maintenance tasks.
- Proficiency in basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Vocational training or certification in a relevant trade (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical).

- Ability to work on-call or flexible hours as needed for urgent repairs.
