Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and reliable Grocery Store Price Auditor to join our team in Duluth, MN. This full-time, stable position operates Monday to Friday, ensuring the accuracy of product pricing throughout our store. The ideal candidate possesses a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining pricing integrity for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular audits of shelf prices, promotional displays, and point-of-sale systems to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Verify that all products are priced correctly according to current promotions, sales, and regular pricing structures.
- Identify and document pricing discrepancies, working proactively to resolve issues with relevant department managers.
- Ensure price changes are implemented accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain detailed records of audits performed, discrepancies found, and resolutions implemented.
- Collaborate with store management to improve pricing processes and prevent future errors.
- Stay informed about company pricing policies, promotional calendars, and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with spreadsheet software.
- Excellent communication skills to report findings and collaborate with colleagues.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift light items (up to 25 lbs) for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail environment, particularly in pricing, inventory, or auditing roles.
- Familiarity with grocery store operations and product categories.
