Job Description
We are seeking highly motivated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for exciting travel opportunities with regional assignments. As a Travel LPN with Kaiser Permanente, you will provide direct patient care in various clinical settings, including hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities across our network. Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs.
- Document patient observations, care provided, and responses to treatment accurately and promptly.
- Assist physicians and registered nurses with patient examinations and procedures.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and medication management.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe patient care environment.
- Adhere to all Kaiser Permanente policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
Required Skills
- Current LPN license in good standing (multi-state license preferred or willingness to obtain)
- BLS certification
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to adapt to various healthcare settings and patient populations
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS certification
- Experience with diverse patient populations or specialty areas (e.g., med-surg, geriatrics)
- Previous travel nursing experience
