Job Description
FedEx is seeking dedicated and efficient Hamper Sorters for our peak season operations in Charleston, SC. This is a temporary, full-time role with attractive weekly payouts, perfect for individuals looking to earn income during a busy period. As a Hamper Sorter, you will be a crucial part of our logistics team, ensuring packages are accurately sorted, scanned, and prepared for timely delivery to our customers. Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently sort hampers and packages according to destination, size, and shipping method.
- Safely lift, carry, and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Accurately scan packages and update tracking information using handheld devices.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and operational policies.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Assist with loading and unloading packages as needed.
