Job Description

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and fashion-savvy E-commerce Vintage Clothing Sorter to join our dynamic warehouse team in Ohio City. If you have a keen eye for unique fashion pieces, understand current and past style trends, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you. You will play a crucial role in identifying, evaluating, and processing vintage clothing items destined for our online store, ensuring our customers receive high-quality, desirable garments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently sort, categorize, and evaluate incoming donations of clothing for vintage appeal and e-commerce suitability.
  • Inspect garments for quality, condition, authenticity, and potential flaws, determining their value and listing potential.
  • Research current and historical fashion trends to accurately identify and value vintage clothing items.
  • Collaborate with the e-commerce team to prioritize and prepare items for online photography and listing.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the sorting area.
  • Meet daily sorting and quality control targets to support e-commerce sales goals.
  • Assist with inventory management and tracking of processed vintage items.

Required Skills

  • Proven eye for fashion and strong understanding of clothing styles, brands, and eras (vintage knowledge a plus).
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify subtle differences in fabric, condition, and design.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a warehouse setting.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency for research and data entry.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs, stand, bend, and move for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in retail, fashion, thrifting, or e-commerce specifically with vintage items.
  • Knowledge of textiles, garment construction, and designer labels.
  • Familiarity with online marketplaces and vintage selling trends.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
