Job Description
We are seeking an exceptionally talented and visionary Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at Hilton Munich Park. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse culinary team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect seasonal availability, guest preferences, and current culinary trends.
- Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, sanitation, and inventory management.
- Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and taste across all dining outlets.
- Manage kitchen budgets, control food and labor costs, and achieve financial targets.
- Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Director and other department heads to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Conduct regular training sessions for kitchen staff to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers for high-quality ingredients.
- Address guest feedback and resolve any culinary-related issues promptly and professionally.
Required Skills
- Minimum 10 years of progressive culinary experience, with at least 5 years in an Executive Chef or Head Chef role within a luxury hotel or high-volume restaurant.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Extensive knowledge of international cuisine, culinary techniques, and food trends.
- Strong understanding of kitchen financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and inventory.
- Exceptional creativity and a passion for developing innovative dishes.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English (additional language skills are a plus).
- Certification in food safety and hygiene.
Preferred Qualifications
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional qualification.
- Experience working in a multi-outlet hotel environment.
- Familiarity with German culinary traditions and local produce.
- Proficiency in German language.
