Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Energy Sector Logistics Assistant with a remote support focus to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our energy supply chain through comprehensive administrative and logistical support from a remote setting. You will be instrumental in coordinating shipments, managing inventory documentation, and facilitating communication between various stakeholders to optimize our logistics processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills, an aptitude for remote collaboration tools, and a keen interest in the energy sector to contribute to critical operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive remote administrative support for logistics operations, including data entry, documentation, and reporting.
  • Coordinate and track energy component shipments, ensuring timely delivery and proper record-keeping.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with supply chain data management using various software platforms.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, internal departments, and field teams to resolve logistics-related inquiries and issues.
  • Prepare purchase orders, reconcile invoices, and process necessary paperwork related to logistics activities.
  • Assist in scheduling and organizing logistics meetings, virtual training sessions, and team communications.
  • Utilize remote collaboration tools (e.g., video conferencing, shared documents, project management software) to maintain seamless workflow and communication.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in an administrative or logistics support role, preferably within the energy or utilities sector
