Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented WFH Pinterest Moderator to join our secure online community team. In this remote role, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe, positive, and brand-aligned experience for users on Pinterest by reviewing user-generated content against established guidelines. This position requires strong critical thinking, excellent judgment, and a commitment to upholding community standards while working independently from your home office. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the health and security of the online environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and moderate user-generated content on Pinterest (pins, comments, messages) to ensure compliance with community guidelines and terms of service.
- Identify and take appropriate action on content that violates policies, including but not limited to spam, harassment, hate speech, inappropriate imagery, and misinformation.
- Utilize moderation tools and internal systems efficiently and accurately.
- Escalate complex or ambiguous moderation cases to senior moderators or specialized teams as needed.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of moderation guidelines and processes by providing feedback and insights.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion regarding all user data and sensitive content.
- Meet daily productivity and quality targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Stay informed about current trends and evolving online safety challenges specific to visual platforms like Pinterest.
