Job Description
The Hyatt Regency Jurupa Valley is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Weekend Student Valet Parkers to join our vibrant team. This part-time role is perfect for students looking to gain valuable hospitality experience while managing their academic schedule. You will be the first and last point of contact for our guests, providing a warm welcome and efficient, professional valet service. Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, opening doors and assisting with luggage as needed.
- Safely and efficiently park and retrieve guest vehicles in designated areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized valet parking area, including the porte-cochère.
- Provide clear directions and information about the hotel and local attractions.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and hotel safety regulations.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve minor issues with a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Report any vehicle damage or suspicious activity immediately to management.
- Work collaboratively with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a valet, customer service, or hospitality role.
- Knowledge of the Jurupa Valley area and local attractions.
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program.
