Job Description
DoorDash is seeking energetic and reliable Student Delivery Riders for weekend shifts in Vacaville. This part-time role is perfect for students looking to earn extra income while staying active. As a Bicycle-only Rider, you will be responsible for picking up food orders from local restaurants and delivering them efficiently and courteously to customers within the Vacaville area. We value punctuality, excellent customer service, and a commitment to safe riding practices. Key Responsibilities
- Pick up food orders from various restaurant partners in a timely manner.
- Deliver orders safely and efficiently to customer locations using a bicycle.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of delivered items, verifying order details.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while riding.
- Maintain a positive attitude and present a professional image.
- Communicate effectively with customers and DoorDash support as needed.
Required Skills
- Must be 18 years or older with a valid ID.
- Own a reliable bicycle and smartphone.
- Ability to use a smartphone for navigation and order management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Familiarity with the Vacaville area (or willingness to learn quickly).
- Physical ability to ride a bicycle for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in delivery or customer service roles.
- Current enrollment in a college or university program.
- A clean riding record.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
