Job Description
Join TransPerfect as an Entry-Level Transcriptionist specializing in General and Medical content. You will play a crucial role in converting audio and video recordings into accurate written text, supporting our diverse client base in healthcare, legal, media, and corporate sectors. Key Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio and video recordings into accurate written text, ensuring high fidelity to original content.
- Perform quality checks on transcribed documents to identify and correct any errors in grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Adhere to client-specific style guides and formatting requirements for each project.
- Manage transcription workload efficiently to meet deadlines and turnaround times.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and security protocols for all sensitive information handled.
- Collaborate with project managers and quality assurance teams to ensure delivery of high-quality transcripts.
- Continuously improve transcription skills and knowledge, particularly in medical terminology and general subject matters.
Required Skills
- Excellent listening skills and strong command of the English language (grammar, spelling, punctuation).
- Proficiency in computer usage and typing speed of at least 60 WPM.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
