Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proficient Table & Chart Data Entry – Excel Specialist to join our remote team. This role is crucial for maintaining data accuracy, generating insightful reports, and creating compelling data visualizations. You will be responsible for inputting, organizing, and verifying data, as well as transforming raw information into professional tables and charts using Microsoft Excel. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to significant projects from anywhere.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately input and update large volumes of data into spreadsheets and databases.
- Verify data integrity and perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Organize, sort, and filter data to facilitate analysis and reporting.
- Design and create professional tables, charts, and graphs using Microsoft Excel to visualize data trends and insights.
- Prepare reports and summaries based on compiled data for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to data security protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to understand data requirements and reporting needs.
- Identify and resolve data discrepancies or inconsistencies promptly.
Required Skills
- Proven advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, charts, formulas).
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a remote environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities related to data reconciliation.
- Proficiency in basic data entry principles and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Data Science, Statistics).
- Experience with other data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL).
- Experience working in a fully remote team environment.
- Knowledge of VBA for Excel automation.
