Job Description

Pinch A Penny Pool Patio Spa in New Port Richey is seeking a dedicated Spa Water Quality Tech to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position focuses on the essential maintenance of spa water quality, ensuring our clients enjoy pristine and safe spa environments. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular testing of spa water parameters (pH, chlorine, alkalinity, calcium hardness, etc.) using precise measurement tools.
  • Accurately add chemicals as needed to maintain optimal water balance and sanitation according to established guidelines.
  • Inspect spa equipment, including filters, heaters, pumps, and jets, for proper function and identify potential issues.
  • Perform routine cleaning of spa surfaces, filters, and surrounding areas to ensure cleanliness and prevent buildup.
  • Document all test results, chemical dosages, and maintenance activities thoroughly and accurately.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding equipment status, water quality concerns, or any necessary repairs.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and environmental regulations regarding chemical handling and equipment operation.
  • Actively participate in and apply knowledge gained from our comprehensive training program in spa water treatment and maintenance.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures precisely.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with using hand tools.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to various job sites.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks outdoors.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a hands-on maintenance, service, or labor-intensive role.
  • Familiarity with water testing or chemical handling (even in a non-professional capacity).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with good communication skills.
