Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Evening Prep Associate to join our team in Camden Town. This part-time role operates Monday through Thursday evenings and is crucial for ensuring our store is perfectly prepared for the next day’s operations. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including stocking shelves, organizing backroom areas, cleaning, and basic food preparation support, all while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for consistent evening work in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing work areas and equipment.
- Restock shelves and display units with merchandise, ensuring proper rotation and presentation.
- Organize and consolidate products in the stockroom and receiving areas.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as washing produce, packaging items, and setting up food service areas for the morning staff.
- Ensure all equipment is cleaned, stored correctly, and ready for use by morning shifts.
- Handle waste management and recycling according to company policies.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve daily goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good physical stamina, capable of lifting up to 20kg and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures effectively.
- Basic understanding of health and safety practices.

- Previous experience in a retail, warehouse, or food service environment.
- Knowledge of basic food hygiene practices.
