Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Remote Patient Appointment Scheduler to join our dynamic healthcare call center team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute to our mission from the comfort of your home. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, responsible for efficiently scheduling appointments, managing patient inquiries, and ensuring a seamless experience. Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls from patients and healthcare providers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments accurately and efficiently using our electronic scheduling system.
  • Verify patient insurance information and update demographic details as needed.
  • Provide patients with clear instructions regarding their appointments, including preparation, required documents, and location (if applicable for follow-ups).
  • Address patient inquiries, resolve scheduling conflicts, and escalate complex issues to appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
  • Document all patient interactions and scheduling activities thoroughly and accurately.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff and other departments to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Required Skills
