Job Description

CDW is seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Remote Apple Product Specialist to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role involves providing expert-level remote technical support, guidance, and solutions for Apple hardware, software, and services to our diverse client base. You’ll be at the forefront of Apple’s ecosystem, ensuring our customers receive unparalleled support and insights into the latest innovations. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from your home office while collaborating with a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert remote technical support and troubleshooting for macOS, iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, and related Apple hardware (Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch) and software applications.
  • Stay continuously updated on the latest Apple product releases, operating system updates, and emerging technologies, providing proactive insights and recommendations.
  • Conduct thorough remote diagnostics, problem isolation, and resolution for complex technical issues.
  • Guide clients through setup, configuration, and optimization of Apple products to meet their specific business or personal needs.
  • Offer consultative support, advising clients on the best Apple solutions and accessories to enhance their productivity and digital experience.
  • Document all support interactions, resolutions, and product insights accurately within our CRM and knowledge base systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to escalate complex issues and contribute to the development of best practices for Apple product support.

Required Skills

  • In-depth, demonstrable knowledge of macOS, iOS, iPadOS, and Apple hardware platforms (Mac, iPhone, iPad).
  • Proven experience with remote technical support tools and diagnostic methodologies.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Customer-centric approach with a passion for delivering outstanding service.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a 100% remote work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) or Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT) certification.
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions for Apple devices (e.g., Jamf Pro, Microsoft Intune, Kandji).
  • Familiarity with Apple enterprise deployments and integration within mixed IT environments.
  • Previous experience in a dedicated Apple support role or premium reseller environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
