Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented Packers to join our fast-paced distribution center in Grand Prairie, TX. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive in a productive environment and are motivated by performance-based incentives. As a Packer, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing merchandise for shipment, ensuring products are packed according to quality and safety standards. Success in this role is directly rewarded with a daily bonus for speed and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently and accurately pack a variety of products into designated containers.
- Inspect items for quality and damage before packing.
- Ensure all packed items meet company standards and customer requirements.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks (training provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production targets.
- Report any discrepancies or damaged products to supervisors immediately.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and carry items for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or packing role.
- Experience using an RF scanner or similar inventory management tools.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
