Job Description

We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented Online Student Researchers to join our team on a project-by-project basis. This is a unique opportunity for students to gain valuable research experience with a global entertainment leader. As an Online Student Researcher, you will primarily focus on gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing information from various online sources to support ongoing projects across different departments. This role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently to meet project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough online research using a variety of search engines, academic databases, industry reports, and proprietary tools.
  • Collect, organize, and categorize data from diverse online sources, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Analyze research findings and synthesize key information into concise summaries or reports.
  • Identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights relevant to specific projects.
  • Maintain accurate records of research sources and methodologies.
  • Communicate findings clearly and effectively to project managers and team members.
  • Adhere to project timelines and deliver high-quality research outcomes.

Required Skills

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university program (any discipline).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in conducting online research and information gathering.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Media Studies, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Prior experience with academic or market research projects.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools or qualitative research methodologies.
  • Experience summarizing complex information for diverse audiences.
