Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Online Google Transcription Assistant with a specialized focus on medical and legal content. This is a 100% remote, full-time position where you will play a crucial role in converting complex audio and video recordings into precise written transcripts. You will be responsible for accurately transcribing sensitive information, ensuring strict adherence to industry-specific terminology, formatting guidelines, and confidentiality protocols. Proficiency in Google Workspace tools and an understanding of medical and legal jargon are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transcribe audio and video files accurately and efficiently, focusing on medical and legal content.
  • Ensure all transcripts adhere to strict quality standards, formatting guidelines, and client-specific instructions.
  • Review and edit machine-generated transcripts for accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and clarity.
  • Utilize Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Drive) effectively for collaboration and file management.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and data security for all sensitive information.
  • Manage time effectively to meet deadlines for multiple transcription projects.
  • Conduct research on medical and legal terminology as needed to ensure transcription accuracy.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with team members and project managers regarding progress and challenges.
