Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Online Excel Support Aide to join our remote team. In this role, you will provide critical support to users facing various challenges with Microsoft Excel, from basic formula issues to advanced data manipulation. Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level support to users via online chat, email, and virtual meetings regarding Microsoft Excel functionalities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve user issues related to formulas, functions, pivot tables, charts, data validation, and macros.
- Guide users through complex Excel tasks, offering clear and concise instructions.
- Develop and maintain a knowledge base of common Excel problems and solutions.
- Create and modify Excel templates to meet user requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve more complex technical issues.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through professional and efficient support.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, functions, pivot tables, charts, data validation).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
- Reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office setup.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with other Microsoft Office 365 applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity with VBA for Excel (macros).
- Previous experience in a customer service or technical support role.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Office Specialist: Excel Expert).
