Job Description

As a Member Support Pro focused on Career Advancement, you will be an essential link between our members and their professional aspirations. Your primary mission will be to provide exceptional support, not just by resolving technical issues, but by actively guiding members through career development strategies, skill enhancement opportunities, and networking within the Microsoft community. You will identify individual needs, recommend relevant Microsoft products and learning paths, and ultimately help members unlock their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized, high-quality support to members via various channels (chat, email, video calls).
  • Actively engage with members to understand their career goals and challenges.
  • Guide members on how to best utilize Microsoft technologies (e.g., LinkedIn Learning, Microsoft Learn, Azure certifications) for career progression.
  • Resolve complex member inquiries, offering solutions and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Conduct engaging webinars or workshops on career-related topics and Microsoft product utilization.
  • Gather member feedback to inform product development and service improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Marketing, Sales) to enhance the member experience.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Microsoft's product landscape and career development trends.

Required Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in a customer success, member support, or career advising role.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Proven ability to empathize with members and build strong relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to support.
  • Familiarity with common career development frameworks and coaching principles.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience in career coaching, mentorship, or talent development.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the tech industry and Microsoft's product ecosystem.
  • Experience working with large-scale online communities or educational platforms.
