Job Description
Are you looking for a dynamic role in a fast-paced environment with a focus on learning and development? Amazon is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Logistics Order Pickers to join our team in Coventry. No prior experience is required, as comprehensive hand scanner training will be provided to ensure you are fully equipped for success. You will play a crucial role in our fulfilment centre, accurately picking customer orders and preparing them for shipment, contributing directly to our mission of customer obsession.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately picking customer orders using a hand scanner and other warehouse equipment.
- Scanning items into designated locations within the warehouse system.
- Ensuring the quality and accuracy of picked items.
- Adhering to safety standards and procedures at all times.
- Collaborating with team members to achieve daily productivity targets.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Learning and adapting to new processes and technologies as required.
- Operating manual and powered pallet trucks (after training, if applicable).
Required Skills
- Ability to understand and follow safety guidelines and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies (e.g., hand scanners).
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items for extended periods.
