Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Admin Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth administrative operation of our logistics processes, supporting warehouse management, and facilitating communication across various departments. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing data, coordinating schedules, and maintaining accurate records to contribute to efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the warehouse management team, including scheduling, reporting, and correspondence.
  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, shipping manifests, and receiving documents.
  • Assist with data entry and processing of logistics-related information using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other software.
  • Coordinate with drivers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries and shipments.
  • Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports on warehouse operations, performance metrics, and inventory levels.
  • Handle inquiries related to shipments, inventory, and order status, providing timely and professional responses.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for all logistics and warehouse documentation, both physical and digital.
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new warehouse staff, including paperwork and initial system setup.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Order and maintain office and warehouse supplies as needed.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse operations or logistics principles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Previous administrative experience in a logistics or warehouse setting.
  • Associate's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
