Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Lift Attendant & Porter to join our esteemed team at The Lace Market Hotel. This traditional role is central to our guest experience, ensuring seamless arrivals, departures, and assistance throughout their stay. You will be the friendly face greeting guests, assisting with luggage, and ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our classic hotel lift. Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet all guests upon arrival and departure, offering assistance with a professional and friendly attitude.
  • Efficiently and carefully handle guest luggage, transporting it to and from rooms or storage.
  • Operate the hotel's lift safely and responsibly, ensuring guest comfort and adherence to all safety protocols.
  • Provide accurate and helpful information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
  • Maintain the impeccable cleanliness and presentation of the hotel lobby, entrance areas, and lift.
  • Assist guests with general inquiries and special requests, escalating complex issues to appropriate departments.
  • Monitor and report any unusual or suspicious activities to ensure guest and hotel security.
  • Collaborate effectively with the front desk, concierge, and other hotel departments to ensure a cohesive guest experience.
  • Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines.
