Job Description

Join Truist as a Fraud Claims Intake Specialist, where you will be the first point of contact for clients reporting suspicious activity and potential fraud. This critical role involves handling inbound calls, listening empathetically to client concerns, and accurately documenting all details of reported fraud claims. You will guide clients through the initial claims process, providing clear instructions and ensuring they feel supported. Success in this role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain composure in sensitive situations. You’ll work within a dynamic call center environment, adhering to strict confidentiality and security protocols while contributing to the financial well-being of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive inbound calls from clients reporting suspicious activity or fraud claims.
  • Listen empathetically to client concerns and gather detailed information regarding potential fraud incidents.
  • Document all claim details accurately and thoroughly into the bank's designated systems.
  • Provide clients with clear and concise instructions on next steps and what to expect during the claims process.
  • Verify client identity and authenticate transactions following strict security protocols.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as fraud investigations or operations, to ensure timely resolution of claims.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fraud trends, bank policies, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Adhere to strict confidentiality and data protection guidelines in all interactions.

  • Familiarity with financial regulations (e.g., Regulation E, Regulation Z).
