Job Description
Join PerkinElmer’s innovative Environmental AI Research team as an Ecology Video Labeler. In this crucial role, you will contribute directly to the development of cutting-edge artificial intelligence models used for ecological monitoring and conservation efforts. Your primary responsibility will be to meticulously review and accurately annotate video footage of wildlife, habitats, and environmental phenomena. This data will be essential for training machine learning algorithms to identify, track, and analyze ecological patterns. Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed review and annotation of ecological video footage, identifying and categorizing specific species, behaviors, and environmental features.
- Utilize proprietary and third-party annotation software to accurately label objects and events within video frames.
- Maintain high standards of data quality and consistency, adhering to established guidelines and protocols.
- Collaborate closely with AI researchers and data scientists to understand labeling requirements and contribute to data improvement strategies.
- Participate in regular calibration sessions to ensure inter-rater reliability and annotation accuracy.
- Report any technical issues or inconsistencies encountered during the annotation process.
- Contribute to the refinement of annotation guidelines and best practices.
