Job Description
Join the Dunkin’ team in Newport, RI as a Weekend Morning Shifts Donut Shop Assistant! We are looking for an energetic and friendly individual to help us delight our customers with fresh coffee and delicious donuts during our busiest weekend hours. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys early mornings, has a knack for customer service, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Enjoy the perk of cash tips on top of your hourly wage!
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately
- Prepare and serve coffee, beverages, and food items according to Dunkin' standards
- Handle cash and credit card transactions with precision using a POS system
- Ensure the display cases are stocked, clean, and appealing with fresh donuts and other baked goods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including dining areas, restrooms, and kitchen
- Assist with opening procedures, including brewing coffee and setting up displays
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Work efficiently as part of a team to ensure smooth operations during peak hours
Required Skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to handle cash and operate a POS system accurately
- Reliable and punctual, especially for early morning shifts
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented mindset
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
