Job Description
Join The Sterling Club, Sugar Land’s most sought-after destination for evening entertainment and social gatherings, as a Cloakroom Attendant. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a friendly demeanor and exceptional organizational skills to be at the forefront of our guest experience. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and pleasant arrival and departure for our guests, managing their personal belongings with care and efficiency during our bustling evening hours. This role offers a fantastic chance to immerse yourself in a dynamic, high-energy environment and interact with a diverse clientele.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet all guests upon arrival and assist with coat and bag storage.
- Issue and retrieve claim tickets accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure cloakroom area throughout the shift.
- Handle all guest belongings with the utmost care and professionalism.
- Assist guests with any inquiries or directions as needed, providing excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Adhere to all club policies and procedures, including security protocols.
Required Skills
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Reliable and punctual, particularly for evening shifts.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20 lbs).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer-facing role.
- Familiarity with coat check procedures.
- Fluency in Spanish or other languages.
- Knowledge of the local Sugar Land area and attractions.
