Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Car Valet to join our busy airport fleet team in Garland, TX. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy a fast-paced environment, have a passion for cars, and are committed to providing excellent service. As a Car Valet, you will be responsible for the movement, organization, and upkeep of our vehicle fleet, ensuring cars are ready for our customers at all times. This is a vital support position that keeps our operations running smoothly and efficiently, contributing directly to customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently move vehicles between various locations on the lot and to customer pick-up points.
- Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and damage before and after rentals, reporting any issues immediately.
- Perform light cleaning duties for vehicle interiors and exteriors as needed.
- Assist with fueling and vehicle preparation for rental, ensuring all cars are customer-ready.
- Maintain an organized and tidy vehicle lot, parking cars according to designated areas.
- Assist customers with luggage and provide directions or information as requested.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and traffic laws.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient fleet management and quick turnaround times.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to drive various makes and models of vehicles (automatic and manual transmission is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout a shift.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a valet, car rental, or automotive service role.
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
