Job Description

Lamar Advertising is seeking motivated and adventurous individuals to join our Billboard Posting Crew. This is an exciting outdoor role that involves extensive travel across the USA, working in various weather conditions to maintain and install large format advertising displays. If you love working with your hands, enjoy being on the road, and are looking for a physically active job that offers new challenges daily, this is the perfect opportunity for you. No prior experience is necessary; we provide comprehensive training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely climb structures to post and remove advertising materials on billboards.
  • Operate and maintain specialized equipment, including bucket trucks and lifts.
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on billboard structures.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies at all times.
  • Travel extensively across designated regions of the USA, often for several weeks at a time.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to complete projects on schedule.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Accurately complete daily work logs and reports.

Required Skills

  • Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
  • Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials (up to 75 lbs).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and be away from home for extended periods.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safety protocols.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience operating bucket trucks or similar heavy equipment.
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or willingness to obtain one.
  • Experience in construction, maintenance, or other outdoor manual labor roles.
  • First Aid/CPR certification.
