Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and hardworking Berry Pickers to join our team for the upcoming harvest season in Perth, Scotland. This is a temporary, on-site role perfect for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and are looking for a rewarding seasonal opportunity. On-site lodging is available to ensure a comfortable stay for our team members. You will be responsible for carefully harvesting a variety of soft fruits, ensuring quality and efficiency. No prior experience is necessary, as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Carefully pick and harvest a variety of berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, etc.) according to quality standards.
- Sort and pack picked fruit into designated containers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in the fields.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Work efficiently to meet daily picking targets.
- Report any fruit quality issues or plant health concerns to supervisors.
- Collaborate positively with team members and supervisors.
Required Skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in agricultural work or fruit picking.
- Ability to speak basic English for communication with supervisors.
