Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate Remote Apple Developer to join our innovative iOS development team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge applications that delight millions of users worldwide. You will work on exciting new features, enhance existing functionalities, and ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of our iOS products. This is a 100% remote position, offering you the flexibility to work from your preferred location within Arvada, CO, or surrounding areas while collaborating with a globally distributed team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Swift/Objective-C code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, backend) to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge.
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry best practices to ensure our applications remain at the forefront.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Swift and Objective-C.
- Extensive experience with iOS frameworks such as UIKit, Cocoa Touch, Core Data, etc.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
- Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Proven ability to ship high-quality, scalable iOS applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
- Experience with SwiftUI and Combine.
- Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
- Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools like Instruments.
- Published one or more iOS apps to the App Store.
- Experience with unit testing and UI testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
