Job Description

Zara is looking for an enthusiastic and creative Student Visual Merchandiser to join our vibrant team in Bristol. This entry-level role is perfect for someone eager to learn the fundamentals of visual merchandising, gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced retail environment, and contribute to the iconic Zara brand. You’ll work alongside experienced visual merchandisers, helping to implement exciting store layouts and ensure our products always look their best.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Visual Merchandising team in executing daily and weekly merchandising plans and directives.
- Help maintain high standards of visual display, cleanliness, and organization throughout the store.
- Arrange and display products, mannequins, and signage according to Zara's brand guidelines and seasonal themes.
- Monitor stock levels on the sales floor and assist with replenishment to ensure displays are always full and appealing.
- Learn about current fashion trends and how to translate them into effective visual merchandising strategies.
- Support the team in preparing for new collections, promotions, and store events.
- Contribute to creating an inspiring and engaging shopping experience for our customers.
Required Skills
- Strong interest in fashion, retail, and visual merchandising.
- Creative flair and an eye for aesthetics and detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
- Good communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift, and move display items and merchandise (up to 25 lbs).
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to support store operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a relevant college or university program (e.g., Fashion Design, Retail Management, Art & Design).
- Previous experience in a retail environment (even if non-visual merchandising specific).
- Basic understanding of current fashion trends and styling techniques.
